Aji’s new focus
As we enter month two of this COVID-19 lockdown, we at Aji’s have been creating new ways to continue our mission of empowering the elderly to live happy and healthy lives. While sales of our products have completely vanished, we’ve switched our focus on producing podcasts, videos, and blogs to keep our community of elders and their grandchildren engaged.
During this lockdown, we’ve published two full-length podcast episodes: Ep 10 with 86 years old Dhammawati Guruma and Ep 11 with 83 years old Kulendra Devkota. We have also launched a brand new #AskAnAji video series for our Instagram and YouTube channels. We have more interesting projects in the pipeline which enables the Aji’s community to stay engaged and connected in this new world of social distancing. Please follow us on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter to be the first to see them.
When we started Aji’s, we set three clear objectives for our organization: 1) to harness the elderly’s unique skills and knowledge, 2) to strengthen bonds between younger and older generations, and 3) to preserve the stories and legacy of the elderly. While it has become difficult to pursue our first objective, we are doubling down on our second and third objectives. Our podcasts help preserve the extraordinary and inspiring stories of our elders, and our #AskAnAji video series creates fun new opportunities for grandparents and grandchildren to interact.
Please support our work by becoming an Aji’s patron via our Patreon page. We are extremely grateful for the 16 patrons that are supporting us. If you’re able to, please support us with as little as just $1 per month. Your support will help us continue our mission by keeping our elders engaged, as well as create positive and uplifting content during this uncertain time.
Stay happy & healthy, Aji’s founders.
